These terms apply when you install, access, or use the Simple Spam browser extension, website, and hosted moderation service.
Creator beta
Simple Spam is currently a limited creator beta. Features may change, be unavailable, or contain errors. We may limit enrollment, usage, or access while we test and improve the service.
Who may use Simple Spam
You may connect only a YouTube channel you own or are authorized to moderate. You are responsible for the Google account you connect, the protection mode you choose, and the moderation actions taken through your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access or moderate a channel without permission.
- Use the service to harass, target, or suppress legitimate users.
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where law permits.
- Use Simple Spam in violation of YouTube's terms or applicable law.
Creator control and responsibility
Automated classification is imperfect. Review suggested actions before applying them, especially during the beta. Assist mode requires creator review; other modes can take limited actions according to settings you enable. Simple Spam does not automatically submit spam reports.
Third-party services
Simple Spam depends on Google, YouTube, Chrome, and hosting providers. Their terms and availability also apply. We are not responsible for changes, outages, suspensions, or limits imposed by those services.
Availability and warranty
The beta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted operation, perfect detection, complete spam removal, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Simple Spam will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost comments, data, revenue, goodwill, or channel access arising from use of the beta.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Simple Spam and disconnect YouTube at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the beta.
